MarginNote Pro looks to be a great resource tool. I would recommend this app to college students or professionals that find themselves reading lot of pdf documents and needing to remember or take notes. This app make it easy to read, take notes, and study. MarginNote Pro really combines a number of the apps that I have seen over the years into one. I also recommend you watch some of the video tutorials to get better familiar with the app. Flashcards – you can create these to help you study/review your notesīecause there is so much to the app, it will probably take you a little while to get used to the features or locate the options you want.MindMap – create a “flow chart” of your notes (not sure the best way to describe this).Outline – create an outline of your notes. The current version, MarginNote 3, brought a whole host of new features and was released in 2018. MarginNote was developed by Sun Min and has been through a few iterations over the years. Note taking – a quick summary of what you can do with the app: highlight, screenshots, add comments- text, photo, video, use hashtags MarginNote 3 is currently rated at 4.7 of 5 stars with 4,300 reviews. Again you can organize and sync them to the cloud Notebooks – this is where you notes will be located.Books – you can read books, import them from the cloud, organize them by categories. There really is a lot to the app and I will not be able to cover it all in this post. The app interface is clean and straightforward. Also the developer has created a ton of very helpful tutorials (videos) so if you are having problems or a question, you can watch these videos. There is a lot on the screen and I find it hard to follow on the small screen. Though you can use the app on an iPhone, I would recommend using the iPad or iPad Mini. With so many books and textbooks in pdf format these days, students and professional really need a tool like MarginNote Pro.īefore I get into the full post. With MarginNote Pro, you can read a pdf or EPUB document and then mark it up, take notes, a whole ton of things. There is a free version of the app, so you can try it out before you buy. This paid app is available iPad, iPhone, and MAC. Today I am looking at the app MarginNote Pro. In the “old” days, I would sit down with a book, after going to the library and write down notes on a piece of paper, etc. School and studying has changed a lot since I was in school.
